Xortify - Fortify your XOOPS.
Cloud Security for Protector - Dedicated Server.

Xortify is a network security drone that uses Web 2.0 techniques to link between your XOOPS installs and other via a XML Cloud. This will prevent security intrusions to your xoops with accurate deceptive notation of the intruder and prevent any farmed attacks. It is an accessory and required Protector to be installed an running to be part of the hookup. Otherwise it will run without protector just make sure you deselect protector as a provider.

It will display a template if you are banned and is an accessory to protector or any other firewall technology. The site itself is driven from www.xortify.com .. Cloud computing is web 2.0/3.0 stuff it used a SOAP XML exchange backend to work, this will eventually be included in xoops as a support class, that is SOAP protocol.

A cloud computing process is one which staggers multiple networks sometime and mainly unknown to the webmaster into a network or cloud of data. In this example it is IP and Netaddy names to control access lists.

This will prevent predators from exposing your network to lag and other attacks from link farming, often this means many xoops are attacked in occasions which is all the time caught by protector, this way if an attack is in process across a large spectrum of links, your site will down itself to your sourced attack even if it is discovered on a completely unaffiliated site that is link farmed to yours or on a XOOPS User list.

Upgrade Instructions

Make sure you delete the 'providers' folder in the existing module then upload Xortify 2.21. Once you have install the file base this way you will remember to upgrade the module in the system modules application in the xoops system menu.

You will need to then goto the preferences and make sure you are running the protector provider if you are running protector this will populate the cloud with your bans that come in protector as well.

Designed for XOOPS 2.4 and earlier version, it was written in response to problems with earlier forum titles, that had in some cases installation issues. With a broad range of options. X-Forum is a great solution to your forum requirements, complete with RSS Features and image management.

It will utilise a wide range of options and allow your community to discuss issues, raise topic and solution. Complete with .htaccess example and SEO with a medium URL.

With X-Forum you can have all the convenience of the modular newbb path without the result. Based on CBB with a sound environment that even your grandma can use, I know mine does this is solid stuff coming directly to you under GNU Licenses.

xNews 1.68 Final is out!!!!

and included a new xNews Importer 1.01 beta module to be installed separately.

xNews Importer module is a start to enable importing articles from old news module to xnews and clones and also to import to and from xNews clones.

After some cleaning up and testing it will also import from other xoops article management apps...

With due care it is now possible to have a clone called news as many requested.

I am very happy to add a new premium theme to INSRAQ.me Shop: InsProjekt. As its name suggests, it is a theme designed for projects or products. But actually it may suit very different purposes.

The theme has a very clean and neat design. As I understand that many people prefer a simple theme rather than a theme with many many features. They like the theme to be just about “design” so that they can customize the functions as they like. It is hard to customize a very functional theme as conflicts will often be seen.

So InsProjekt is just about the design, there are only basic functions. The slideshow is not integrated with XOOPS block system. As such integration will cause some misunderstanding in blocks. But I promise the theme is easy to modify. I have put all the files that you will ever need to modify in tpl folder. Open the HTML files there and start customizing. You don’t need to search the main files with lots of unrelated codes. And I’ve made detailed comments in the files.

To be consistent with our low price policy, the theme is only priced at $2. Actually I am interested in Paypal system: If I the price is so low that it cannot cover transaction fee, how does Paypal charge that?

Many people suggest that I set up a subscription club or something like that. They want to try all of the themes before deciding which one to use on production website. I also think it is a good idea. But I am afraid that I might be busy some time and could not release themes regularly. If you paid for an annual membership, you expect to get themes on a regular basis. I don’t want to let you down so I will not set up the subscription. However, I would apply the low price policy: charging the price as low as possible (to cover my hosting bills), so that even if you buy all the themes, it is still very affordable.

The design comes from one of my abandoned design concept. It is not the client that abandoned the design, I did. I don’t like it, but other people might like this style so I spend a few hours making a theme out of the concept.

I integrate Superfish menu and slideshow into the theme, and they can be modified by editing tpl/ *.html.

You can do whatever you want to the theme, including resell and redistribution. It is also OK to use it to a commercial project. I don’t really care. All files are licensed under GPL 2.0 except for the demo photos in slideshow.

Contact Forms with Verbose Checking

Lawsuit is an module for XOOPS that allows for categories and pages to be create with associated forms. The forms are completely customisable and offer a method of display data in pertinence to any legal issue and collect data for an inquiry or application to a law firm, lawyer or solicitors service so they can ask unique question to do with the case.

You can have as many forms and pages as well as categories as the database supports. Each page can have a customised form associated with it where you can retrieve related information to do with the presentation of the case or issue you are seeking clients on for legal representation.

There are other application for this module which can be easily cloned or change to suit other forms of paginated liaise within your xoops site.

This is the first open release so please test and report any errors you are having.

In this version the XOOPS Captcha form element has been added to all form for spam prevention as well as a few reported minor bugs fixed with categories. There is also a system of validation points you can have where people have to validate via RegEx; a String Match or a Count higher than 0 on an SQL Statement including count(*) for the first field in select.

Compounds is a module for xoops 2.4. It utilizes some of the new features like decimal and floating point precision numbers to allow your end used to build compounds in XOOPS. A Compound is a combination of chemical periodical movements that allows for building larger chemical soups from.

The idea of this module is to generate a soup kitchen for compounds, see chemists don't have blogs they have what is called a soup and compounds is a component of this for your XOOPS Site. If you would like to see a demonstration of this module goto my wifes site - www.chemical-reaction.biz.

The compounds module allows for dynamic building of alloys, cyclonic changes, isolinear particles and other forms of compounds. It has a dynamically assigned system and uses a symbolisation method to define display.
